Haven't been on here in awhile to post anything new. I am, however, working on that. So many things going on, so many projects, so many personal issues. It's difficult to concentrate on one thing when you have so many things going on. My apologies!

Wondering why I still felt pain, when my life is pretty good now. I started writing and letting out all my past. Guess what? It's helped.

Aching...
feeling of burning flesh
this heaviness upon my chest
these bones feel like they are broken
all I wish to do is rest

to close my eyes
to drift to sleep
for I await you, sweet relief

All these words
Swirl through my head
All I wish is to go to bed
As the pillow cradles my head

So I can fall asleep

Yet if I fell asleep
I know
Twisted images would fill my mind

Sweet dreams
They don't exist
I know
For nightmares are so unkind
